Rules for National Competition

Are you ready to be the Belize Microsoft Champion?

The National Competition of Microsoft Office aims to choose the representative of Belize who will participate in the WORLD COMPETITION OF MICROSOFT OFFICE 2019, competing with the best in New York, USA.

The National Competition is the opportunity to demonstrate your skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Rules for National Competition

1. Must be a student of a verifiable educational institution
2. Between 13 and 22 years of age (turn 23 after June 15th, 2018), checked with Social Security ID or birth certificate.
3. The policy sheet and document must be signed in original and physically delivered at SAI Info- Tech office at 16 Albert Street, Belize City, Belize on or before March 15th 2019.
4. Students who turn 23 before June 15, 2019 will not be able to participate.
5. The national competition will be held in May 2019, at SAI Info-Tech.
6. SAI Info-Tech will prepare the students for the Certification exam and will provide the following:
   1. Training
   2. Online platform for learning and practice
   3. Simulation Test
   4. Exam Voucher
7. Students must submit the following to SAI Info-Tech at 16, Albert Street, Belize City:
   1. Completed registration form
   2. Student ID
   3. Social Security ID or Birth Certificate
   4. Fee $199

World Competition Assistance Policies

1. Migration, passport and visa expenses are borne by the parents.
2. The expenses of air ticket, lodging and food for the winner will be provided.
3. Students traveling to the world competition will share dormitory with other participants of the same genre.
4. Parents are committed to deliver notarized document, granting permission for the child to travel under the guidance of a representative of SAI Info-Tech.
5. Participating students are committed to respect the Code of Conduct established by Certiport in the Competition and throughout the trip.
6. The Microsoft Office Specialist World Championship will be held from 28th to 31st July 2019 in New York, United States of America.
